Theros

New to the world of Caen this large continent is home to a fairly advanced civilization, both industrially and militarily speaking, advanced politics have held these people together for centuries until war came to their world from across the stars.
 
Theros: A continent of contrasts, rolling fields of amber wheat surround the major metropolis's, vast sprawling cities of marble and cobble stone, pillars rising high into the sky carrying aloft aqua ducts, further inland is a large mountain with dense forest surrounding it. a vast ocean and island network surround the continent, vast plateaus stretch out where centaurs and packs of horses run wild and free.
 
Climate: Subtropical (Average daytime Temperature range between 65-80 degrees, average nightly temperature between 35-50 degrees, it does not experience true winter or true fall, fall is more of a rainy season, and winter is light snow falls at best)
Population: Mostly humans, with a small smattering of Minotaurs, centaurs, Harpies (strix) and Pygmies (Halflings), Ajani (Catfolk), Satyr's, Aasimar, Tiefling (Godlings), Elves, Merfolk.
 
Intermixed and spread out, the Minotaurs mostly stick to the outter islands prefering the solitude the ocean and the islands provide, the centaurs tend to stick to the plains running with herds of wild Ibeks, deer and horses. The Harpies stick close to the shore lines where they can more easily fish for food or pick up rotten scraps that the fisherman leave behind. and the pygmies and humans live peacefully together somewhat.
 
Political structure: ruled by the senate, who in turn are ruled by the Triumvirate, each Triumvir is elected to his/her position once every 7 years and holds sway over a specific portion of Therosian society, the Triumvir of the Military, the Triumvir of Agriculture and Commerce, and the Triumvir of Education.

Fashion: Loose fitting tunics, and togas are the common clothing style, white is the common color, though those of higher status can usually afford to more elegant colors such as reds, greens, blues, purples and yellows, sandals with leather laces running in a crisscross pattern up the calf is also quite common. The soldiers of Theros wear Hoplite armor, Bronze Breastplate with leather Tasset, Greaves, Bracers and Helmet, and fight in a phalanx. The officers of the army usually wear Lamellar, steel if they've earned it, though some officers choose to stick with the Hoplite Breastplate moving up to Steel Breastplate instead of bronze. All officers of Theros are visible with a crest of plumage on their helmets going straight up and back vertically like a mohawk, brightly colored, the color denotes rank and unit. 
 
Common Classes: Fighter, Bard, Oracle, Rogue, Alchemists (Apothecary) divine casters on Theros have no access to domains at this time as no Gods of Theros have made it to Caen at this time. Barbarians, Rangers and Druids can be found on the fringes of society.
